It has occurred that too few are involved in real estate investing. Why is that? It likely goes back generations, like many of the antiquated customs of our forefathers.
One theory is that real estate investing requires commitment, education, and risk. Those three things of which you are capable, but are all things that you have little time for after your day job, your dad/mother job, your husband/wife job, and your social functions. After all, there are only 24 hours in a day.
Suppose you could obtain an education that cuts the time needed to pursue those opportunities to the bare minimum and suppose you had a resource to simplify the steps. If so, you could spend your valuable minutes earning valuable dollars, instead of learning tough lessons through trial and error.
Here’s the truth: All of us can feel a loss of control or vulnerable when they are unable to provide our children with basic needs. It’s difficult to maintain a positive, productive attitude when you are constantly living on the edge of survival. Your present-day reality does not have to continue. You can break the cycle of poverty or dependency and begin to live with positive expectancy and confidence.
Maybe your interest is not financial. It could be that you have a very successful career and have had a lucrative life with all the perks, and the only thing you really desire is time. The demands of your job have been keeping you on a treadmill where you are busy and productive, but you’re not really happy and you want something more in life. You want to know that you can succeed on your own. You want to spread your wings.
Money is simply a vehicle for which we can trade our time, knowledge, and services for goods that meet our needs and desires. The more specialized you become, either in knowledge or skill, the more demand there will be from people who will pay you for your time, abilities, and services. The supply and demand theories that you learned in high school economics still hold true today.
The road to financial security is starting your own real estate investment business. As long as a demand exists for your knowledge and skills, you will always have a source of income if you know how and when to use them. More millionaires are made through real estate than any other single business.
You can be one of those if you believe you can and you educate yourself about the process. The great thing about being a real estate investor is that you can accomplish many of your goals without have a large net egg or start-up funds. No other investment allows for appreciation and positive cash flow as easily as real estate.
You can literally go from broke to a positive monthly cash flow and a million dollars in net assets in less than a year if you work smart. This is not some “get rich quick” scheme, and I hesitate mentioning the million-dollar potential because I do not want this education associated with any late night commercials.
Even the government encourages you to get into the real estate investing business. They offer many special tax considerations that equate to more money in your bank account. They offer special financing for various needs. They help people on limited incomes pay their rent. And, if you choose, you can even defer paying your taxes until you retire. The government has set up a host of opportunities that make real estate investing very attractive. And all you need to do is learn the process.
The opportunities in the real estate industry are not covered with the glass ceiling that still exists in the business world and that women almost always eventually reach. The possibilities in real estate investing are limitless. There is no one to tell you that you can’t earn more money or tell you that you cannot be as successful as everyone else who has succeeded before you.
