You can leave the over-the-top castles to Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty — we'll choose a cozy cabin in the woods à la Snow White and Seven Dwarfs any day of the week. And apparently so would Walt Disney's granddaughter, Tamara Diane Miller. According to Curbed Ski, she recently purchased the historic 490-acre May Ranch in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, which includes seven relatively modest buildings (the largest is 2,674 square feet), as well as a 1930s barn-turned-theater room.
Purchased for $11.25 million, the restored compound features rustic country touches such as reclaimed wood, antique stoves, and stone fireplaces. Here's hoping that Tamara won't mind if we move into one of the property's guest cottages!
